I couldn’t be more excited to join the SHS family. I graduated from AuSable Valley and received my undergraduate degree from Castleton University in health sciences and my graduate degree from SUNY Plattsburgh. This is my 12th year in education in several different roles. Most recently, I have served Chazy Central School as the Student Advocate where I provided counseling services for students K-12. Prior to that, I was the assistant principal at Beekmantown Middle School for five years and was a behavior specialist at the CVES Special Education Center for several years before that. The best parts of my job(s) have been seeing students succeed, particularly the ones who had obstacles stacked against them. I am eager to jump in and start working together for the students and families of Saranac.
When I’m not in school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and traveling. I am the incoming Chief of Morrisonville EMS and teach the basic EMT class at Clinton Community College. I live in Cadyville with my fiancé and two Frenchies.
