Good afternoon, Saranac High School Families,
I hope summer is off to a great start and that everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather! I wanted to provide our Spartan families with an update on our planning for the 2026–2027 school year.

Congratulations—this is your year! Believe it or not, senior year will fly by, so do your best to enjoy every moment along the way. Your graduation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 25, 2027, at 6:00 p.m. Let the countdown begin!🛡️ CLASS OF 2030
Welcome to high school! We can't wait to meet you and officially welcome you to the high school team. Freshman Orientation will take place on Wednesday, September 2, at 5:00 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. We look forward to seeing you there!🏫 OPEN HOUSE
This event is open to all students and families in grades 9–12. Bring the whole crew! Beginning Wednesday, September 2, at 5:30 p.m., you'll have the opportunity to walk through your schedule, meet your teachers, reconnect with friends, and get ready for the new school year. Snacks (while supplies last!) will also be provided.
📚 STUDENT SCHEDULES
Student schedules will be released on Monday, August 31, and will be available through SchoolTool. If you have trouble accessing your account, please contact Brittany Trybendis at btrybendis@saranac.org. Printed schedules will also be available through the high school counseling office during Open House and on the first day of school. Additional information regarding schedule change requests will be shared by Mr. Johnson and Ms. Marsh.🎒 SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS

🚗 STUDENT DRIVERSDue to a limited number of parking spaces, only eligible seniors will be permitted to drive to and from school. Parking paperwork must be submitted to the main office, and final approval is determined by school administration. Students who are approved will receive a parking pass and an assigned parking space.
Seniors may drive to Saranac High School (not CV-TEC) during the first few days of school; however, all parking paperwork must be submitted to the main office no later than Friday, September 11. Additional information regarding temporary parking procedures during the first week of school will be shared soon.
⭐ SENIOR PRIVILEGES
Senior privileges do not begin on the first day of school. All seniors are expected to follow their full daily schedule (8:20 a.m.–3:08 p.m.) until privileges are officially approved.Demonstrating safe, respectful, and responsible behavior is an important part of earning these privileges. Before any privileges are implemented, class officers will meet with Ms. Murphy to discuss expectations and determine which privileges will be offered. This process typically takes place within the first few weeks of school. Additional information will be shared by the Class of 2027 advisors, Mrs. D'Ambro and Mrs. LePage.
